Feature and Follow #6

Happy Friday! Feature and Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, each of whom feature a chosen blog for the week. This is a great way to meet new bloggers, make friends, and get exposure for your own blog.

Question of the Week:
What was the last book that made you cry?

I hope this doesn't make me a bad person, but I've never actually cried from a book. There were instances where I felt insanely sad, but not to the point of actually having tears. Hmm, THE FAULT IN OUR STARS and SHADOW KISS (Vampire Academy #3) are good examples.

  1. Hopping through. I didn't cry at TFIOS, which is surprising because I loved it - but I did feel very emotional.

  2. Can you believe it that I've not read TFIOS yet? I just can't since I know how sad that book is especially at the end =( so many spoilers online that it ruined the surprise for me.

  4. You, my friend, are very, very lucky. I am such an easy target for crying in a book. I cry because things are sad. I cry because they are happy. I cry because I finished the book. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS, because I very rarely cry in real life! Also it makes reading while on public transit a dangerous journey. No one likes to look like the crazy person on the train haha

  5. TFIOS is a good one. I think we'll see that a lot this week like we saw HP two weeks ago. :)

  9. Oh TFIOS.... where do I even begin... this book destroyed me, it was too depressing! I've never read any of the VA books, but it's on my TBR now just cuz I wanna know what's with all the hype.

    Thanks for sharing! :)

  11. Ohhh Shadow Kiss! I forgot that one! Of course, I've had other more recent reads. But oooh the emotions came back when I was reading the graphic novel version too! Worse yet, because you could see Rose's emotions on her animated face!

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT day!

  12. I don't cry at books very often at all so I know what you mean. It's hard to find instances when I actually cried over a book so I, like you, just get very, very sad instead.

  16. TFIOS was an emotional read for me too (but no tears). It certainly seems to be winning the crying game right now :-)

  17. Oh yes!! I cried during those two as well. That ending scene in Shadow Kiss between Rose and Lissa was so uncomfortable. Thanks for stopping by. Following you back!

  22. I never read those books, so if they made you sad... I don't want to be a crying mess. Usually I read horror, so there's no reason for me to cry, unless my favorite villain is killed or something.
